Taras Vyacheslavovych Chornovil ((ウクライナ語:Тарас В'ячеславович Чорновіл); born on June 1, 1964 in Lviv) is a Ukrainian politician and is a former deputy in the Verkhovna Rada (Ukrainian Parliament).〔〔(Chornovil leaves Reforms for Future group ), Interfax Ukraine (9 February 2012)〕

Taras Chornovil was born on June 1, 1964 in Lviv, Ukrainian SSR, Soviet Union (now Ukraine), to Vyacheslav Chornovil,〔 (Чорновил Тарас Вячеславович ), Информационно-аналитический центр "ЛІГА"〕 a former Soviet dissident, politician, and founder of the People's Movement of Ukraine, and his wife, Olena Antoniv.
Chornovil studied at the Faculty of Biology at the Lviv University. From 1981-1982, he was a laboratory assistant at Lviv Polytechnic Institute.〔 From 1982-1984, Chornovil served in the Soviet Army.〔 From 1985, he was a member of the Ukrainian Helsinki Group, and one of the founders of the Union of Independent Ukrainian Youth.〔 From 1987, he was an editor in the "Ukrayinskyi Vistnyk" and the main editor of the "Moloda Ukrayina" newspapers.〔
